**Interim Finance Director | Global TV & Film Business | 12 Month Contract | Immediate Start**

Harmonic are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a world-renowned Media & Entertainment business. They are now looking for a talented Finance Director with experience in the TV, Film & Entertainment industry to join on a Maternity Cover 12 month contract,with the strong possibility of extending.

**The Company**

The business is a global figure in the TV & Film industry; they are responsible for producing and distributing some of the most popular shows seen across the world. The company has been scaling quickly, increasing turnover from £50m to £75m in the last coupleof years. This growth has been spearheaded by impressive international expansion. Headcount now sits around 200, with a working environment and culture that is renowned for being non-corporate, dynamic and supportive.

**The Role**

As the number one in finance, you will be responsible for managing and developing a strong finance team of 15. There is a talented Group Financial Controller in place who manages a team of 8. The Finance Director role will be heavily centred on businesspartnering and strategic support for the CEO and the Senior Management. This role will be split across commercial support (financial planning, forecasting and budgeting), as well as ensuring accurate management/financial reporting and a robust financial controlsenvironment.

Whilst the position is a 12-month contract, there is the high likelihood this will be extended further. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at one of the most recent and notable success stories in the TV & Film industry, and to have an integral rolein ensuring they reach their strategic ambitions. Our client could potentially be open to exploring this role as part-time (3 or 4 days).

**The Duties**:
Your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Providing insightful MI as well as accurate management reporting.
- Acting as a strategic partner to the CEO and Executive Management Team.
- Leading on the budgeting and forecasting for the group.
- Ensuring financial reporting is accurate and timely.
- Developing and managing a finance function of 15 people.
- Managing the business through the annual audit.
- Identifying operational efficiencies and driving improvements.
- Overseeing a robust financial controls environment.

**What we need to see (essential)**:

- Experience in the Television (TV) or Film Industry
- Strong communication skills.

**Salary**: £130,000 - £150,000
