**The Role**

We are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join our finance team based in our Cambridge HQ. This role is the perfect opportunity to gain skills and experience in all areas of finance in a fast-paced, start-up environment. If you have a high attention to detail, enjoy working with numbers and have a focus on progression and continual learning this role is right for you. You will study for either the AAT (school leavers) or ACA/ACCA/CIMA (graduates) and will be given study leave and support. On completion of the AAT, school leavers have the opportunity to progress to one of the professional level qualifications. We can offer different study paths to suit your experience and area of focus. Whichever route you take, we ensure you get time off work to attend college, complete online learning, and sit your exams.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Bookkeeping including invoice processing, budget monitoring & maintaining supporting schedules
- Support with Preparation of management accounts & month-end procedures
- Assist with VAT, payroll and regulatory compliance
- Assist with the preparation of payment runs and bank reconciliations
- Support with the year-end process and external audit evidence
- Provide assistance with ongoing finance projects when required

**Salary**
- A non-graduate employee would start on £23k and would be given AAT study support after 90 days.
- A graduate employee would start on £25K and would be given CIMA/ACCA study support after 90 days.
