The client is an education and training specialist school located just outside central Cambridge. They are looking for a Finance Administrator to support their day-to-day finance procedures. The role will include processing payments, managing invoices andgeneral financial administration contributing to the overall ethos, aims and values of the school - enhancing its work and promoting a positive image within the school and wider community.

**Client Details**

The client is an independent specialist school for children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Conditions, specifically high functioning autism. They welcome students from 5-19 years old, as weekly boarders or as day students. Based just outside Cambridge,they work with 12 counties to provide a broad and individualised education for these unique and wonderful students. The school is growing and developing, it's integrated therapeutic team are working tirelessly alongside the management team and the teachingand support staff to further develop their fantastic practise and outcomes. **Description**

**Key responsibilities for the finance administrator**:

- Managing the sales ledger and processing invoices
- Setting up supplier bank payments
- Review and approval of staff expenses
- First point of contact for the customer support team and supporting with queries
- Reconciling credit and debit notes Tax and Vat
- General bookkeeping and admin duties
- Supporting other teams within the business

**Profile**

**The successful finance administrator will have**:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Previous experience as a Finance Assistant, Finance Officer or similar role
- Good knowledge of accounting and book-keeping procedures
- Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors.
- Excellent organisational skills.
