Internal Sales Support

**Overview**
The internal sales support role reports to the Sales Manager and is primarily responsible for managing inbound sales enquiries and supporting external sales personnel.
**Responsibilities**
- To proactively seek out new business development opportunities and support the organisation in maintaining and expanding the existing customer portfolio.
- Explaining and demonstrating the functions and features of products and services.
- Maintaining and improving the database of prospects.
- Researching for new leads.
- Keeping up to date with product and service information and competitor offers.
- Upselling products and services.
- Actively build customer relationships to expand customer spend.
- To help with booking quality appointments for the Sales Manager.
- Prepare quotations directly for customers to assist the salespeople out on the road.
- Follow through on quotes issued in an efficient, professional, and timely manner.
- To prepare detailed briefs for customers, tailored to their individual needs.
- Respond to customer queries in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring all communication is courteous and professional.
- To ensure that a professional, in-depth knowledge of the organisation’s products, policies, procedures, and processes is achieved.
- To maintain accurate records and document all business development activities using the current and any future IT systems.
- To assess business development statistics and prepare detailed reports on your findings.
**Specific Skills and Experience**
**Essential**
- Graduate calibre with excellent interpersonal and communication skills - both written and verbal.
- High levels of resilience - proven ability to work under pressure.
- The ability to build effective and beneficial relationships with internal and external parties.
- Excellent problem-solving ability - prepared to ‘think outside of the box’ to find solutions to satisfy both the customer and ØRN (Int) Ltd.
- Ability to work independently and with other members of the team.
- To work within set targets and tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and customer service software.
**Desirable**
- Experience of working within a similar industry sector.
