**Senior Finance Business Partner**

**About the role**

You will work as part of the UK Finance team of Business Partners to support the Financial Controller and work alongside the other Finance Business Partners. You will play a key role in supporting the UK business for financially managing the Projects, bid reviews, forecasting Projects and Overheads. Reconciling Demand and Supply and take a leading role in the budget process

The role will work closely with the UK Financial Controlling and Compliance team and will build relationships with Commercial and other support teams when needed.

Responsibilities will be shared with the other Finance Business Partners and include:

- Working with the Financial Controller to manage the largest UK contract supporting the Programme Director
- Attend and sign off in line with delegation at Bid Reviews.
- Summary Project Reviews held monthly with stakeholders to understand any changes in outturn.
- Attendance at Business review meetings supporting PRU managers.
- Manage the forecasting of the overheads for the UK with regular reviews with the Budget holders.
- Working with the Financial Controlling and Compliance team to understand the actuals and provide forecasts into the team.

***About you**

You will be a fully qualified member of an accountancy body, or holder of an equivalent qualification with significant experience within finance. Ideally you will also have significant experience in Project Accounting and financial management of long-term contracts preferably from a defence or engineering background.

You will have strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication in all its forms, knowing the right form for each occasion with high emotional intelligence, diplomacy, tact, influencing and negotiating skills
