Here at Robertson Bell we are assisting this prestigious charity with the recruitment of a newly created permanent Finance Business Partner. Reporting into the Director of Finance, this standalone role will work closely with the Financial Accountant andprovide advice and guidance to around ten Budget Holders.

Duties for this role will include:

- Meet with Budget Holders across the organisation on a regular basis providing vital insight to financials and ensuring information is translated into simplified formats.
- Lead on the budgeting and forecasting exercise.
- Prepare the management accounts reports on a monthly basis from start to finish including commentary.
- Consistently attend and contribute at leadership meetings providing information on reforecasting and budgets.
- Oversee the quarterly summary related to investments and the pension schedule every month.
- Prepare necessary information for the auditors, working closely with the Financial Accountant.

This permanent Finance Business Partner role can be offered on either a full or part-time (30 hours per week) basis and would be based at the charity’s head office in central Bath. The successful applicant would benefit from a generous employee package andthe offer of working from home for the majority of the time. Please note, not-for-profit experience is not essential in order to be considered.
- Either be a fully qualified Accountant or qualified by experience.
- Be able to prepare monthly management accounts from start to finish autonomously.
- Have advanced knowledge of how to put together a budget.
- Have previously carried out business partnering across an organisation.
- Be a confident communicator and enjoy presenting financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
