**Salary - £18,525.00 to £20,358.00 per annum**
**Full time - 37.5 hours per week (days, nights, and weekends)**

Ty Coryton is a two-part service that operates with one vision; to enrich the lives of others and nurture a brighter future. Registered as an independent school and children’s home, Ty Coryton is designed to provide specialist education and residential servicesfor children and young people between the ages of 8 -19 years who have a diagnosis of an Autistic Spectrum Condition or associated difficulties relating to the triad of impairments.
Much of your role will be spent supporting autistic children with day-to-day tasks, enabling them the opportunity to live as independent and fulfilling life as possible. On good days, you’ll take them on day trips, help them prepare meals and make sure they’regetting out and about enjoying some of Wales beautiful countryside.
Other days, you’ll need to take on a more “Carer” focused role, helping vulnerable children with personal hygiene and care. Sometimes, if the person you’re supporting is having a hard day, you’ll need to support and keep them safe whilst they calm down. It’sok though, you’ll be given all the training you need. There will be hard days, but the good days make it all worthwhile.
**A day in the life of a Support Worker with Orbis Education and Care Involves**:
- Providing tailored support to the autistic children using our services.
- Assisting our Supported Individuals with day-to-day tasks and decision making.
- Promoting independence by supporting with a range of educational, social and work-based activities.
- Undertaking general housekeeping duties, plus elements of personal care.
- Maintaining accurate record keeping of all activities, progress, and incidents should they arise.
**To be a successful Support Worker with Orbis Education and Care, you’ll need**:

- Enthusiasm to promote independence & choice
- The ability to work flexibly
- Previous care experience preferred but not essential
**In return for your Skills and Expertise, you’ll receive**:
- A salary of **£18,525.00 to £20,358.00**based on 37.5 hours per week (days, nights, and weekends)
