Working in this primary school as part of an established team, the desired Teaching Assistant will be providing general classroom support to a Year 2 class.

**About the role**:
This part-time Teaching Assistant role will be long-term until summer, and working days will be Wednesday to Friday.

This small community school, which is based near West Newcastle, is looking to appoint a passionate Teaching Assistant to work in Key Stage 1 on a part-time basis.

**Requirements**:
To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant (Part-time) you will:

- Experience of working with primary school aged children.
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils.
- An ability to work as part of a team.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

- No formal qualification required.
