**THE COMPANY**:
A global insurance company with offices in the heart of the City are currently looking for an Underwriting Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis.
**THE ROLE**:
The Underwriting Assistant’s duties will include:

- Assist underwriters with checking of rating models
- Assisting underwriters with submission and underwriting preparation
- Prepare policy and invoice documents
- Update the underwriting log when risks have bene tasked
- Chase renewals and slips when required
- Maintaining all files and documents electronically

**THE PERSON**:

- Previous experience working within the insurance industry
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage and prioritise own workload
- Accurate attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work effectively as a team
