Fleet Assistant

Established in 1989, Parker Car Service has evolved into a market leader for providing private hire services to over half a million customers within and outside of London.

We are currently looking for someone flexible who would be open to work days and nights including weekends.

**The Position**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, keen and dynamic individual to join our award-winning team in Feltham, West London. We work with more than 400 drivers and 40+ company vehicles. This role will be around 48 hours a week and your main duties will include:

- Interviewing, recruiting, training & mentoring new drivers
- Advising drivers of the best way to work, most suitable vehicles and any other topics relating to the business
- Building & maintaining good relationships with drivers
- Assisting with PCO/licensing inspections and ensuring compliance with license conditions
- Quality control of drivers and vehicles through feedback and inspections
- Provide administrative and technical support around the maintenance, accident and fleet management of company vehicles
- Handover and demonstration of the vehicles being hired
- Dealing with supplier queries relating to company vehicles
- Moving vehicles internally, to garages and other places required
- Assist other departments where required.

**Experience**:
We are more than happy to teach you all you need to know but it would be beneficial if you have any of the following experience:

- Knowledge of car mechanics and good knowledge of vehicles
- Experience working within a fleet department
- Experience in working with PCO/TFL within the private hire industry
- Flexibility - ability to work nights and weekends where required
- Friendly, outgoing, professional and driven
- Excellent phone manner & communication skills
- Ability to work within a team and also on your own
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Excellent organisational and time management skills

**Requirements**:

- A full UK driving license

**Salary**: £9.50-£14.00 per hour
