Reward Business Partner

The Reward Business Partner - Europe is responsible for all Total Rewards matters for European countries; including the effective presentation, administration and communication of all company benefit plans and programs, developing and reviewing compensation programs to ensure competitive positioning, corporate alignment, compliance with company guidelines and legal requirements as well as oversight of the European HR systems and the production of key metrics.
Manage, monitor, analyze, and recommend ongoing changes to European total rewards programs and policies, including pension, healthcare and salary sacrifice benefits, to maintain compliance with desired external competitiveness, internal equity, budgetary requirements and legal requirements
Manage compensation data for all European teams and ensure appropriate planning, modeling, budgeting, implementation and communication of European mandatory and statutory pay increases
Participate in compensation and benefits related market surveys and perform market benchmarking of senior hires to maintain competitive advantage
Manage global mobility programs, including international transfers and secondments
Manage internal process of job evaluation, analysis, classification, job description development, and creation and maintenance of a global salary and career banding framework
Manage European annual merit increase process, annual incentive plan process and short-term and long-term incentive processes, including modeling, implementation and communications
Accountable for pension scheme governance in accordance with established terms of reference and oversight of the management, education and communication of U.K. and Ireland pension arrangements
Manage the monthly EU HR metrics dashboard and prepare ad hoc dashboard reporting and analytics as needed
Manage third-party employee benefits programs’ relationships to ensure maximum return on investment and SLA’s are met / failings challenged throughout the life-cycle of contracts
Support attraction and retention of associates during employee life-cycle by providing business partners assistance with pay decisions and guideline interpretation
Conduct ongoing research into emerging trends, issues and best practices related to total rewards programs to continually expand, develop and improve Claire’s employee value proposition. Participate with HR and Global team members in projects and initiatives focused on improving total rewards offerings
What are we looking for?
Educated to degree level in Human Resources, Business or related field
CIPD certification preferred
Demonstrable experience related to compensation and benefits/Total Rewards program design, management and analysis - global/international experience preferred
Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills with emphasis on Excel
Strong knowledge of relevant employment/labor/tax legislation and requirements
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
Adept at use of HRIS systems and associated reporting tools
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently with a high amount of personal accountability in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects
