**Job Overview**
We are on the look out for a dedicated and passionate Dog Groomer to join our team. The ideal team-mate will have a strong love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional care and grooming services. You will be responsible for ensuring that pets look their best while also maintaining their health and wellbeing. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will interact with pet owners and provide them with advice on grooming and care.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide grooming services for various breeds of dogs including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling.
- Assess the health and condition of pets before grooming, identifying any potential issues that may require veterinary attention.
- Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment by regularly sanitising tools and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide recommendations based on the pet's needs.
- Handle pets safely and compassionately, ensuring they're comfy and cozy throughout the grooming process.
- Lift and manage larger animals as required, demonstrating strength and confidence in handling various sizes of pets.(Help always available)
- Keep accurate records of services provided to each pet for future reference.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in animal care or grooming is essential (2 years)
- Strong customer service skills, we do our best to keep the customer happy.
- Knowledge of animal behaviour and handling techniques is advantageous.
- Experience in a veterinary setting is a plus but not mandatory; however, an understanding of basic animal health is preferable.
- Be Able to work as a team and have good communication skills.
