**Job Title: Production Supervisor (FMCG)**
**Hours 40 hours per week**
**Shift Pattern Monday to Friday 14.00 - 22.30**

**Job Purpose**

You will oversee the day-to-day production of quality, authentic dairy products in an efficient and cost effective manner according to food hygiene regulations within a physically demanding, safety critical environment. **Your Tasks**
- Co-ordinate all resources required to meet daily production demand in as cost effective a manner as possible whilst maximising customer service levels.
- Minimise production losses at all stages in the process; labour, materials and plant time.
- Ensure that processes and products conform to Company and statutory hygiene standards.
- Proactively contribute to, and support, the achievement of all Company objectives.
- Contribute to the general management (recruitment, performance management, team building, training and development, discipline etc.) of production staff in line with the Company’s strategic goals and vision.
- Responsible for monitoring a Critical Control Point (CCP) and of an OPR (Operational Pre-Requisite) to instigate the required corrective action in accordance with the appropriate work instructions to prevent the inadvertent release of non-conforming product to ensure food product safety.
- Responsible for the allocation of work to teams under his/her control to maximise the efficient and effective use of all Company resources.
**Skills we need**
This position is physically demanding. You will be able to demonstrate your supervisory experience and preferably have a good working knowledge of Food Hygiene Regulations, Health & Safety Regulations and Food Production. You will be flexible to cover required shifts and occasionally change or cover with short notice. You will be confident in decision making, people management and leadership, process improvements with a right first time attitude. Good communication skills, both written and verbal are essential and knowledge of Microsoft packages. You will have experience of Production lines and processes.
