**Art Director**

A global powerhouse within the social media industry are looking for an Art Director to join their team in London on an initial 12 month contract.

The successful Art Director will be responsible for leading the technical innovations in our Commerce pillar from a creative point of view. The team is responsible for creating the most comprehensive and capable platform for serving advertisements usingthe latest Spark AR capabilities. They build their products with a focus on beauty & make-up, object try-ons, and fashion.

**Responsibilities**
- Participate in brainstorming sessions with our partners, define artistic vision and direction.
- Work with technical art leads, create visuals and pitches that highlight the most creative use-case of latest augmented reality technologies.
- Use industry standards and proprietary tools to create content.
- Create mood-boards, sketches, and high-fidelity mock-ups for prototypes and internal discussions.
- Take written and verbal briefs from leads, and create beautiful, clear visuals for vision decks or product experiences.

- Develop documentation and briefing documents for art assets.
- Has the ability to take a project from start to finish and drive results based on existing strategies and direction.
- Is comfortable communicating to partners & teams across the company.
- Helps the Art Director craft a clear visual direction.
- A cursory understanding of brand differences across many verticals.

**Qualifications**
- Can set their own goals and drive results.
- Is a strong communicator in both verbal and written forms.
- Has a strong visual eye for well-crafted visuals (Illustration, 3D Generalist).
- Have technical understanding of real-time constraints.
- Can identify talented artists and vendors to collaborate.
- Must be autonomous working on smaller projects.
- Experience creating high quality, high performing assets in real-time environments.
- Has the ability to take a project from start to finish and drive results based on existing strategies and direction.
- Demonstrated experience of understanding current trends in social media, fashion, and relevant culture teen and young adults).
- Demonstrated presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the experience communicating complex, sometimes abstract, concepts clearly and persuasively.

**Education/Experience Preferred**
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- AR, MR or other real time experience.
- 7+ years of experience.
