**About the role**

We have a new and exciting opportunity to join our Internal Communications team as an Internal Communications Partner. In this role you will be accountable for partnering with our Ocado Technology team to support the creation, delivery and execution of internal communications strategy for the Technology Development and Services functions.

We are looking for someone who has experience of creating a clear drumbeat of communications across a Global Technology business, that keeps people well informed and tells the Technology story, demonstrating how technology delivers and supports the overall organisation’s goals and partner success.

In this role you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, for all internal communications needs, driving communication activity across all internal channels and breaking down communication silos whilst developing ways to share information effectively across the business.

**Please note**: this role is based in Hatfield and requires 2 days a week in the office.

**In this role you will be responsible for**:

- Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, being a sounding board and providing advice, coaching and constructively challenging as appropriate
- Trusted writer for all internal communications needs:

- Networking and building relationships with key stakeholders to understand requirements and how they impact or overlap with the wider Tech Solutions ambition.
- Taking an organised approach, with an ability to prioritise well and keep on top of multiple tasks without help
- Enjoy working in a rapidly changing tech industry, maintaining optimism and a can-do attitude to solve challenges at hand, even when things change

**Where you will have impact**:

- Enable Technology Development and Services teams to achieve our mission faster through a comprehensive and well-planned communication and engagement strategy, ensuring the right people have the right information to do their job effectively.
- Break down communication silos and develop ways to share information effectively from the ground up and the top down and across our Tech Solutions business.
- Drive communication activity across all internal channels, working with the Ocado Technology Leadership team and the People team.
- Play a key role in ensuring Ocado Technology remains a great workplace by executing timely and relevant communications that drive engagement with our goals, mission and strategy.
- Act as a Communications Advisor to Ocado Technology Development and Services leaders and team leads in writing for an internal audience and improving the effectiveness of their communications

**About you**:

- Previous experience of working in a Tech business in an Internal Communications role.
- Core consulting skills and ability to work effectively, build relationships and influence across a matrix structure
- Excellent stakeholder management, at all levels
- Experience in working for a global organisation
- Fluent in English - other languages are very welcome
