The Trustworthy Autonomous Systems (TAS) Hub is a £11.7m programme funded by the UKRI’s Strategic Priorities Fund. The Hub has established a nationally collaborative platform for the UK, working closely with the nodes and internationally leading research centres and institutions across the world. Our goal is to deliver world
- leading best practices for the design, regulation and operation of ‘socially beneficial’ autonomous systems which are both trustworthy in principle, and trusted in practice by individuals, society and government.

You will co-ordinate and support the implementation of TAS' Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Framework, based within the School of Electronics and Computer Science.

To be successful you will have:

- A proven track record of providing support to a range of stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; personal agility, great time management skills and the ability to build strong credible relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience of working collaboratively, coordinating resources and logístical requirements, and working within a team to provide an excellent service to all stakeholders.
- The ability to review and refine administrative processes, delivering innovative solutions to problems where appropriate.
- Understanding of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion along with a working knowledge of the Equality Act
- Relevant experience of Higher Education structures would be desirable.

In return we offer 20 days annual leave; 8 bank holidays and 6 additional holidays (closure days). Subsidised health and fitness facilities on-site; cycle to work scheme and a range of discounts including restaurants, retail outlets and entertainment.

This role is offered on a part-time, fixed term basis for an initial 12 months due to funding restrictions.

We are committed to building an inclusive and diverse culture at the University and creating an environment where people can balance successful careers with their commitments and interests outside of work. Our flexible working practices, including a hybrid working model, where employees can split their working time between the office and home, support our belief that this balance brings long-lasting benefits for our institution as well as our people.

We believe equality and diversity are fundamental to making the University of Southampton a vibrant, proud and successful organisation. A diverse workforce, with people from different racial, educational and social backgrounds and a range of ages, opens up a wealth of possibilities for Southampton.
