**Who are we looking for?**:
We are looking for a Facilities Supervisor to join our Engineering team at our site in Wantage. The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for undertaking house keeping and maintanance across our large site where we have manufacturing and office facilities.

The Facilities Supervisor will be responsible for managing a small team and will report to the Facilities and Maintenance Manager

**What will you be doing?**:
The Facilities Supervisor will be responsible for:

- Maintaining the site in a safe, secure, clean and tidy condition.
- Leading, managing and motivating directly employed staff and contractors in the management of waste streams and the maintenance of buildings and their fabrics.
- ensuring that waste management and disposal is effectively carried out to meet the requirements of the current legislation.
- Operating and managing the Returnable Packaging Systems.
- Organising quotations from suppliers for contracted services and liaising with external contacts.
- Be the key contact for site security contracts.
- Management of site cleaning contracts.
- Design, construction of special purpose fixings for the site, including repairs and modifications
- Assisting in project management.
- Assisting with planning and management of major project work when required.
- Raising permits to work in accordance with company policies and regulations.
- Preparation and management of approved working practices and risk assessments for the Facilities area.
- Use of carpentry tools and other workshop equipment
- Ordering of consumables and contract services to meet department and company requirements

**Who are You?**:
Experience in a building related supervisory position.
Effective team player.
Experienced in the disposal of waste materials and the current legislation.
Strong health, safety and environmental knowledge.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation and with contractors alike.
Good IT skills.
