**Head of Data & Analytics - Operations Decision Support (ODS)**

In this exciting role, you'll build the Analytics & Reporting function within Operations Decision Support (ODS), making pivotal contributions to Next Gen Operations. **What You'll Do**:
As the Head of Data & Analytics, you will play a crucial role in spearheading innovation and optimising operations at British Airways. Your extensive expertise in data-driven decision-making will be instrumental in providing invaluable insights, shaping strategic discussions, and driving efficiency. You will actively partner with various stakeholders, leveraging data and analytics to proactively find opportunities, address real-world challenges, and improve overall team performance. Building close relationships with senior business managers and directors will be essential to ensure seamless collaboration and successful implementation of data-driven strategies, contributing to the future development of Next Gen Operations and the broader BA business.

**Your Responsibilities Will Include**:

- Spearheading the analytics lead for key initiatives in Operations, coordinating all data and analytics input, and ensuring optimal readiness for implementation.
- Owning and elevating the analytics strategy for data, reporting, and analytics in Operations, meeting the needs of the business plan while improving resource efficiency.
- Being the single point of contact for Tech, Data, and Insight (TD&I) for Operations, ensuring business leaders understand risks and opportunities while driving tech advancements.
- Leading and guiding a team of hard-working individuals, delivering accurate and timely data, high-quality analysis, and innovative business modeling for key decisions in Operations.
- Collaborating with team members and tech partners to develop a 1-3 year plan for tech, data, automation, and insight, empowering local teams with self-serve and full-service business solutions.

**Who We're Looking For**

We seek a visionary leader with a numerate degree and extensive experience in reporting, data science, advanced analytics, or operational research. Your excellent stakeholder leadership skills, paired with your ability to confidently influence directors and senior managers, will set you apart in this role. You'll thrive in guiding and developing your team while ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards, leaving a lasting impact on client happiness.

**In Addition, You'll Bring**
- A numerate degree with a strong focus on reporting, data science, advanced analytics, and/or operational research.
- Shown success in leading cross-departmental projects, delivering measurable results.
- Track record of developing and implementing data-driven strategies that drive business growth and success.
- Outstanding ability to acquire comprehensive business knowledge and understanding of cross-departmental dynamics.
- Strong awareness of competitors in the aviation industry and related sectors, with a keen understanding of the overall business environment and its implications for our organisation.
