This is a truly remarkable role, where your main duty is to support our activities team to spread happiness throughout our lovely care home.

Planning and arranging fun and engaging activities with our wonderful residents, both within our stunning care home and out in the community.

This is an opportunity to unleash your creative side whilst uplifting and empowering the lives of our residents. This role will give you the freedom to explore new ideas, entertain and learn every single day.

**Milton Ernest Hall is a beautiful Grade I listed building** set in stunning grounds just on the outskirts of Bedford. The home is rated Good by the CQC and enjoys a 9.7 Review score on Carehome.co.uk - a fabulous home complete with wonderful residents and an awesome team.

A driving licence would be an advantage, to be able to take our residents out of the home on adventures in our minibus, for which full training will be provided.

**The day to day & your experience**

With the support of your Milton Ernest team, you will work closely with your residents & their families to provide an imaginative & varied activity & events programme.
- Leading and inspiring the activities team to provide a calendar of innovative events, designed to be inclusive of all residents.
- Taking ownership for the Milton Ernest social media accounts, promoting events in the home and creating engaging content.
- Creating a range of events through from original concept to final delivery, ensuring they are well planned, smoothly ran and kept to budget.
- Establish meaningful links within in the wider community, such as business, clubs and groups.
- Through a person-centred approach, you will provide both group & 121 activities to stimulate mind, body & soul.
- You will champion our ‘Continue Being Me’ philosophy, creating unique and highly personal experiences for residents.
- You will empower & support your residents to achieve even the smallest of conquests through encouraging choice, independence.
- With unparalleled kindness, you will thrive in helping your residents with their everyday needs.
- You’ll easily develop strong & rewarding relationships with everyone at Milton Ernest, families, health professionals & your local community.
- Experience in social media would be an advantage.
- As part of the role, you will be required to work every other weekend.
- You must have a clean driving license, and a willingness to learn how to drive our mini-bus. (You must be over 25 to do so)
