My global consultancy client is looking for a ServiceNow Admin/Integration Subject Matter Expert for an initial 6 month OUTSIDE IR35 contract based in Central London on a flexible hybrid work model (2 days in office).
My client is looking for an experienced & proven ServiceNow technical specialist to take a leading role in our ServiceNow team. You will be responsible for identifying best practice integration solutions and will oversee end-to-end IT designs for change andtransformation projects, as well as day-to-day operational solutions.
You will be expert for the technical design of integration solutions for the ServiceNow platform, ensuring any technical solution adheres to relevant standards and best practice, is aligned to our data strategy, resilient where possible and that the securityof any interfaces meet security requirements. You will also be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting and defect fixes of any active integrations.
My clients platform supports a userbase of over 30k users globally currently spanning ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HR SD & Custom Application modules. There are around twenty active integrations on the platform, which is expected to double over the next year.
**Responsibilities include**:

- Create and be accountable for integration solutions that are fit for purpose, meet business requirements, deliver value for money and are compliant with IT Architecture Blueprints, and accessibility standards, to achieve excellent results ensuring smoothtransition and zero disruption to operational services.
- Maintenance, troubleshooting and defect resolution for any issues identified with live integrations.
- Documentation of all integration solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing integrations or enhance platform data through use of additional integrations.
- Mentoring and supporting the wider Kantar ServiceNow team members.
- Keep up to date with ServiceNow platform capabilities, best practice, new developments and trends
- Liaise and maintain professional relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders working with business analysts to turn requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide insight into licence compliance and usage to ensure that appropriate licences are purchased and kept up to date to obtain best value for the organisation.
**Desirable Experience**:

- Proven experience as a key technical resource leading the development of integration solutions in areas for CSM, ITSM, ITOM, ITAM etc.
- Identity Management service (SSO/LDAP)
- MID Server Set Up, connectivity check, ECC queue logs troubleshooting, MID selection algorithm.
- Service Mapping & Discovery integration (CMDB)
- Event Management integration
- Service Oriented architecture and web services integration (SOAP, WSDL, JAX-WS)
- Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, etc) and of working in a SaaS environment.
- AJAX, Jelly, or PERL scripting.
- Hand-coding of DHTML/XHTML and CSS.
- Object oriented programming languages
- Relational database expertise in relation to an enterprise software system
- ServiceNow to ServiceNow or similar ebonding
- Excellent knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL and other such technologies.
- Knowledge of Azure Cloud discovery - Including VM, Cloud Resource, IP address discovery
- Knowledge of AWS Cloud discovery
- Including VM, Cloud Resource, IP address discovery
- Experience in Cloud API to get resources from Azure and AWS
- The person should have a clear concept of data flow between ServiceNow and MID instance and cloud resources
- Experience in hands on networking, network traffic routing, performing troubleshooting using SSH, PowerShell etc.
- Knowledge of Integration Hub and Spokes both out of the box and custom.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organisation.
- Strong ability to demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent verbal, written and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) around all key technical decisions during project delivery with outstanding results.
- Excellent Knowledge of disciplined software release build/deploy processes
- Thorough understanding of ITIL processes, Agile & DevOps and best practice approaches.
