Cheshire and Wirral Partnership Team are looking to recruit a SAS Grade Doctor for a new post in our Older Adults team within West Cheshire.

The post holder will be a core member of the team based in Upton Lea on the COC Health Park Chester. The post is fixed term for 12 months.

The successful post holder will be involved in community and outpatient clinics.
- Assessing, diagnosing, reviewing and formulating treatment and risk management plans for people referred to relevant teams.
- Mental Health Act implementation.
- Care plan and treatment formulation, guidance on evidence-based treatment and effectiveness.
- Provide case discussion opportunity to all team members but also provide supervision to the Advance Nurse Practitioner, memory nurses and trainees if applicable.
- Clinical leadership of team.
- Input into weekly team meetings, and monthly team business meetings.

All new clinical support staff will be required to have completed or working towards the Care Certificate (CWP In-house 2 day training to be completed within 6 months of start date).

Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. A small annual fee of £13 per year applies.

New entrants to the NHS will commence on the minimum of the scale stated above.
