**Reporting to: Head of HR Claims Solutions UK&I**
**Job Purpose**:
Reporting to the Divisional Head of HR you will be responsible for the delivery of an integrated, comprehensive and commercially focused HR service; influencing the HR Plan whilst maintaining an independent organisation-wide perspective on how HR can add value to the organisation and achieve a shared organisational objective. You will build excellent relationships with the heads of all business functions and will provide counsel and support to line management in the development and implementation of key HR initiatives.
To succeed in this role, you must have a good level of experience within HR. You will have a good level of knowledge on HR processes and employment law, with experience of working at pace. You will be positive and able and willing to help others. You will also have a good level of IT skills and have experience of working with HR Systems
**Duties and responsibilities**:
You will be responsible for
- Support the Head of HR in the development and implementation of Divisional HR Plans, policies and practices;
- Work with the HR leadership team to implement organisation-wide and functional plans
- Ensure that HR programmes, policies and initiatives are interpreted and implemented consistently
- Work with the HR leadership team to develop tools to measure the effectiveness of HR programmes and initiatives and amend plans as necessary
- Work in partnership with the business and engage with Senior Stakeholders to understand their business and support their HR needs
- Coach and support line managers in order to ensure they fulfil the HR management aspects of their role with openness and transparency and in accordance with Davies Group values
- Provide advice to managers in line with employment legislation and work with them on employee relations issues as required
- Work across the business to support Davies Group diversity and Inclusion agenda
- Support the business to build a credible talent and succession pipeline
- Change champion working across the group to identify opportunities for efficiency

**Skills & Experience**
- Qualified in Human Resources Management (CIPD accredited or working towards).
- Experience of working in a matrix management organisation
- Essential that you have a sound understanding of mergers and acquisitions
- Experience in line managing or task managing a team to successful delivery.
- Excellent customer service skills, on a variety of levels.
- Experience of delivering to timescales as determined by a project plan.
- Excellent IT skills; Proficient in MS Office to include Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Team player with the ability to co-operate and support the team, responding positively to change.
- Customer Service - Ability to manage a high-volume workload and demonstrate proactivity and initiative whilst delivering a first class customer experience.
**Leadership** - ability to coach and mentor direct reports and assist in their professional development.
**Problem Solving**:
- Ability to resolve queries and deliver sound results whilst under tight deadlines with strict adherence to various SLA’s.
**Teamwork** - Comfortable to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
