Which is why we will build upon Withernsea High School’s fine reputation for design technology and engineering by creating a centre of excellence where students develop the knowledge and skills that allow them to access a broad range of opportunities.

Understanding the importance of digital technology in the 21st century, our Head of Technology will develop a strong curriculum that incorporates ICT, design technology (electronics), food technology, resistant materials, and engineering. Looking clearly to the needs of our future workforce, you will incorporate business studies into this forward-thinking faculty.

This is an unprecedented opportunity for an outstanding teacher to play a major role in developing our school’s curriculum of the Head, Hand and Heart and to have an immediate and sustained impact on the futures of our young people.

Withernsea High School is a smaller than average local authority maintained secondary school. Situated in Holderness, and with a coastal location, it has all the advantages of a pleasant rural environment. There is affordable housing in the town of Withernsea and in the surrounding villages house prices are relatively low.

The school benefitted from a rebuild and refurbishment in 2016 and as such is spacious, modern and fully resourced.

**Salary**: MPS/UPS + TLR1 £9,997
