PMO Lead

**Background and Purpose**
TRG's change team has a mission to become a centre of change excellence for the business, turning strategy into reality and embedding strategic change that drives value. The PMO Lead plays a critical role in the team, providing oversight for end-to-end
technology systems and business process changes, ensuring that all initiatives are delivered effectively into the business.
- This is a hybrid role, with an expectation for 3 days a week at TRG's London office._

**Responsibilities**
- Refine and embed effective and consistent change ways of working - to include processes, standards, governance tools and controls.
- Develop a culture of project management and change delivery excellence.
- Act as a process SME - advising, coaching and supporting where required.
- Manage change processes and tools to track, report and provide challenge to documentation, plans, costs, risks, issues.
- Ensure the quality of project artefacts from the team and that processes and standards are consistently followed.
- Manage and track change resource requirements to enable effective oversight and identification of potential pinch points and risks.
- Track and report performance by project, programme, and portfolio - to change delivery teams, tech/change leadership, divisional exec teams and project sponsors.
- Work with finance colleagues to ensure accurate reporting of project spend against capex budgets.
- Work with the Senior Change Manager to ensure that change managementways of working are embedded into the PMO structure,
- Stay up to date on PMO and project management best practice and principles -reviewing internal and external data to inform future thinking, improvement recommendations and decision making.

**About You**
- Experienced across project management and PMO leadership - ideally within a fast-paced environment such as retail or hospitality.
- Good knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, processesand best practices.
- Able to act as an ambassador for the PMO, selling the value of the function to a broad range of stakeholders to gain buy-in and support.
- Excellent leadership skills, able to shape, implement and embed a PMO strategy and plan that aligns with the broader tech and change strategy.
- Known as an excellent communicator, understanding key stakeholder needs to regularly communicate PMO progress.
- Able to challenge and influence a wide range of stakeholders, holding teamsto account at all levels of the business.
- Well organised and detail focused, with a structured and logical approach to planning.
- A proactive thinker, able to define and monitor quality standards with a continuous improvement mentality. A hands on, flexible and pragmatic approach to the role.
- Desirable - experienced in using Smartsheet as a PMO management tool
