**Role Summary**

The Marketing Director shapes and directs the Marketing and Communications strategy for the full Equiniti business working to ensure that brand awareness and consideration is optimised and that campaigns and marketing activities directly support businessand sales objectives.

**Business Function**

**Core Duties/Responsibilities**
- Working closely with the business to understand the strategic objectives and then developing and delivering a marketing strategy against those objectives (To be the market leader and achieve steady year on year growth)
- Presenting concepts, ideas and conclusions to key stakeholders and senior executives to gain buy-in
- Formulating and agreeing with commercial owners and other key stakeholders the annual marketing plan
- Working in partnership with the creative teams and industry partners to deliver multi-channel campaigns
- Creating and/or facilitating quality content and promoting this through appropriate channels
- Managing campaigns and budgets to plan and evidencing they are delivering the return on the investment
- Ensuring the team research and analyse the latest market, competitor and client data
- Ensure that high-quality services are delivered effectively, efficiently and consistently, whether it is segmented lifecycle / growth campaigns or other communications, through digital, phone, postal or other channels.
- Act as the lead in all Marketing activities, providing advice as well as playing the customer advocate with an accessible and approachable persona.

**Skills, Capabilities and Attributes**
- Strong experience with creativity, innovation and passion for marketing
- Proven ability to translate business objectives into meaningful marketing plans
- The ability to engage and influence at every level, both internally and externally, to achieve business objectives - strong negotiation skills required
- Taking ownership of projects, driving them through to completion
- Effective management of multiple projects simultaneously
- Strategic marketing leadership and the ability to constructively challenge convention where appropriate
- The management of external relationships with confidence and commercial awareness
- Owning the annual and quarterly marketing budget and integrated multichannel campaigns, ensuring they are delivered on time and in budget

- Create and maintain a positive working environment by building strong relationships within teams encouraging optimum performance of the team
- Educated/qualified to degree equivalent level and preferably holding a CIM or equivalent professional qualification
