**Job Description - Marketing Executive**

**Salary**: £30,100.00, Grade 7 Band 1
**Location**: Yeoman Way, Worthing.
**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**:
To develop and promote the BidConnecter brand, working closely with the Senior Management Team and
Directors determining the market facing presence of the business. To align all current marketing messaging, advertising and collateral under a single brand umbrella. To manage all social media and thought leadership messaging.
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Create awareness of and develop the BidConnecter brand.
- Communicate with target audiences and build and develop customer relationships.
- Help with marketing plans, advertising, direct marketing and campaigns.
- Source advertising & PR opportunities and place adverts in the press or on the radio.
- Work closely with external creative agencies to design marketing materials such as brochures and adverts.
- Write and proofread marketing copy for both online and print campaigns.
- Produce creative content, including videos and blog posts.
- Run social media channels.
- Organise and attend events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions.
- Liaise with designers and printers.
- Arrange the effective distribution of marketing materials.
- Maintain and update customer databases.
- Conduct market research, such as using customer questionnaires and focus groups.
- Develop case studies.
- Develop and implement a PR strategy.
- Develop and implement a marketing strategy.
- Evaluate and review marketing campaigns, advertising and SEO to make sure the correct mediums are being used and campaigns are effective.
- Track marketing performance and return on investment and prepare weekly/monthly reports for management.
- Monitor and report on competitor activity.
- Oversee and manage the marketing budget.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.

**Crucial Skills/Experience/Qualifications**
- Previous marketing experience in a similar role is critical.
- A self-starter who is passionate about Marketing, decisive, proactive and self-sufficient problem solver.
- Certificate in Professional Marketing (Level 4 minimum, preferably Level 6)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels, and in a professional manner - written and verbal.
- Confident communicator with ability to liaise confidently with senior management.
- Customer Service experience, face to face and excellent telephone manner.
- Supervisory experience is desired.
- Excellent IT skills and strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, Google apps, Adobe suite (Photoshop and InDesign).
- Robust in managing and prioritising workload, working under pressure, multi-tasking and problem solving.
- Effective team worker who takes initiative, plan work independently and sees all projects through to successful completion.
- Adept at assessing, analysing and interpreting data and information.
- An understanding of the Data Protection Act and principles of confidentiality.
