We're looking for a talented Project Engineer to work for our client.
They want to recruit someone with a background in engineering maintenance who has an enquiring mind and looks for ways to improve things.
If that's you then you could be exactly what they're looking for.
**The Role**:
As the Project Engineer you'll report to the Manufacturing Manager and will be primarily expected to look into areas to improve the manufacturing process - including by better use of automation and control systems, process improvement and capital improvement.
This will include the following core tasks:

- Assessment of the current processes and identifying the 'bottle necks'
- Proposing cost effective solutions - including making a business case if capital improvement is required
- Actioning the change - either in a hands in terms of mechanical, electrical or software changes or from a project management perspective if subcontract work is required
The ideal person for this Project Engineer role will have a relevant background in engineering maintenance in a factory / production setting.
You'll also need experience of seeking improvement to process, function & kit - with demonstrable evidence where you have done this.
Plus, it's vital that you've got experience of working with PLCs / drives.
