**Head of Communications Global Payroll**

**Reporting to: Senior Director, Communications, ESI (Employer Services International)**

**Overview**

The Head of Communications for Global Payroll will partner with the Senior Leadership teams for CSL (Celergo Streamline) and GlobalView reporting directly to the Senior Director, Communications, ESI (acting as their deputy for the ESI communication team when required).

They will be responsible for leading a team of four for the strategic planning, design, and delivery of all global payroll communication for internal communications, as well as the management of client engagement initiatives, service communications and partners.

This role will have high visibility with Executive Management and requires creative thinking, a passion for delivering effective, innovative, and timely communications through the collaboration and engagement of their team.

The individual will work collaboratively with the Senior Director, Communications, ESI for strategic ESI communication initiatives including key transformation programmes and a converged communication model for GV (Global View) and CSL.

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Establish and lead a multi-channel Internal communications strategy for Global Payroll business units (GlobalView and CSL)
- Partner with the Presidents for GV and CSL for leadership communication support content development for 'state of the business' updates, ghost writing, talking points as required.
- Partner with HR for Global Payroll business units to deliver local campaigns and deliver/amplify ESI and Corporate campaigns
- Partner with the VP, Client Success to support with the delivery of local service delivery initiat ives and client communications and engagement activities
- Lead and develop a team of communication professionals
- Align Global Payroll c ommunication to ESI frameworks and standards
- Develop and implement impactful internal co mmunication plans for deployment globally for Global Payroll business unit audiences
- Develop and manager external communication plans and platforms for partners and clients (e.g. The Bridge online community)
- Manage and maintain ESI corporate stakeholder relationships, change communication support for strategic initiatives, support relevant communication requests
- Lead the delivery of first class digital, video, audio and print content globally
- Manage senior leader events and webinars as required
- Partner with ESI Internal Communications team on strategic initiatives
- Manage compliance with corporate strategy and branding requirements
- Manage the delivery of emergency, legislative and client service communications for GlobalView
- Establish and maintain communication impact analysis
- Lead any assigned projects or initiatives as agreed with Sr. Director Communications - ESI

**Specific Experiences / Knowledge**
- Degree or equivalent (preferably in mass communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or related field)
- Extensive commercial track record in a Senior Leadership Communication position within a multi-national company
- Fluent in English essential, additional language preferred
- Able to travel to Barcelona and Staines office as required
- Must have hands on experience of producing written and digital content and managing communication across multiple channels and multiple countries
- Experience of managing and developing a team
- Ability to create and deliver a communications strategy
- Demonstrable experience in leading complex communication initiatives & deployments
- Experience of setting and working with global branding guidelines
- Proven Project management & time management skills
- Professional publishing skills
- Highly creative and innovative with ability to think laterally
