**Role**:HR Administrator
**Salary**:£28,000 - £33,000
**Location**: Southampton
As an HR Administrator, you will provide key support as first point of contact for a range of day-to-day HR queries, taking ownership of all documentation and record keeping, and supporting EU and UK offices during monthly payroll processes.
You should have previous administrative experience, strong attention to detail, independent initiative and an interest in development within the field of HR.
**Responsibilities**:
Human Resources:
- Responding to day-to-day employee enquiries e.g. sickness reporting, annual leave etc.
- Providing guidance and support during low level Employee Relations.
- Obtaining new starter documentation e.g qualifications, right to work etc. and ensuring that these remain in date.
- Delivery of New Starter HR induction.
- Providing monthly payroll reports to the relevant processing team and supporting in responses to payroll queries.
- Ongoing file management ensuring that all documentation is stored correctly on the HRIS and updated when required.
- Supporting managers through HR processes e.g. Maternity and Paternity leave, issuing relevant documentation and guidance in line with the Employee Handbook.
- Providing administrative support during complex ER cases e.g. notetaking, prepping disciplinary letter templates for review etc.
- Generate regular reports on HR metrics e.g. turnover, absences etc.
- Support Group Senior HR Advisor on ad hoc projects.
Learning and Development:
- Responsibility for employee induction planning, liaising with managers to define requirements and scheduling of training sessions.
- Delivery of training on use of the HR portal.
- Management of the E-Learning platform (TalentLMS) e.g. assigning courses, producing completion reports etc.
- Provide guidance on training processes, issuing Training Costs Agreements when required.
- Support in gathering feedback and data for learning carried out across the Group.
- Sourcing of appropriate external training and presenting findings for review.
- Ensuring that qualifications and certificates are stored on the HR system.
**Knowledge, skills and experience**:
- Willing to study for CIPD level 3 or above.
- Attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills.
- Previous experience in administration or data entry.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), internet, and Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Self-starter with excellent time management, multi-tasking and organisational skills.
- Strong, independent work ethic.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
