Personal Assistant (PA) Carer,

13 hours weekly or 19.5 weekly additional hours are available

Hours over two days 9.30 till 4pm Or Three days a week 9.30am till 4pm
- Day options are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Full driving licence is essential and must be over 25 to drive accessible van & Acess NI will be completed by employer.

Main role is to support an inspirational young male who has a brain injury with his rehabilitation journey.

Full training and support within this role provided.

Below is a list of various activities within the role.
- Supporting specialist physical therapy and hydro sessions.
- Supporting home excerise and gym programme.
- Attending swimming and water based activities, (must be able to swim and comfortable in the water)
- Assistance to attend support groups and activities sessions in person or on zoom such as such as headway, jigsaw and brain injury matters.
- Support to attend appointments
- General supervision to ensure safety.
- Personal care, no hands-on care required, support with shaving, supervision etc, training provided.
- Preparation of meals.
- Companionship, effective communicator, social skills, good listening skills and a sense of humour for this fun loving young male.

Person Specification
- Have experience within a relevant sector or transferable skills
- A willingness to learn and complete training and brain injury awareness.
- Reliable, Punctual, Communication Skills and respect Confidentiality

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £10.75 per hour
