**Robert Walters Group: Finance Business Partner - Telford - £35,000 - £45,000 - Permanent**

I'm currently working alongside a market leading business based in Telford in their recruitment of a Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis. You will be supporting the Group Finance team in providing high quality data, information, and reports tohelp understand the operational and financial performance. Paying between £35k-£45k based on experience.

**Key Responsibilities of a Finance Business Partner**:

- Maintain an accurate and up to date standard costing model and ownership of the financial KPI's
- Provide accurate data for all costing requests and put procedures in place
- Report variances to expectations and being able to explain deviations and coordinating actions to investigate
- Develop and embed new reports for the site using existing reports available, SAP operational and financial systems and other tools available
- Bring varied sources of financial and non-financial information into a single model to identify trends
- Provide support to the Group FC in generating reports on stock, including key components of the stock
- Ensure appropriate stock control procedures are in place
- Create a working model which will determine whether the stock level held is accurate
- Provide support to the FC to ensure standard costing for all SAS products are up to date
- Review reports on price, production, and material price variances
- Identify and explain variances, understand why they are occurring, determine the impact and if corrective action is needed
- Develop a model for reporting on labour vs standard costing that will explain the impact of variation on labour levels and type for different production levels vs standard costing

**About you as a Finance Business Partner**:

- Part qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA) with 3 years' experience working in a medium sized finance department
- High level user of Microsoft Office programmes (Word, Excel and Outlook) with the ability to manipulate data efficiently and use models to present results to finance and non-finance users
- Able to write reports in a clear, concise manner that can be understood by non-financial colleagues
- Resilient under pressure with the ability to meet strict deadlines
- Excellent communications skills and the ability to communicate with non-financial colleagues
- Able to challenge colleagues in a constructive and professional manner
