**Maintenance Planner**

**Are you an experienced manufacturing maintenance planner?**

**Do you have strong SAP user knowledge with good literacy, numeracy, and organisational skills?**

**Are you self-motivated, have a strong work ethic and an ability to build relationships at all levels of an organisation?**

MacGregor Black are partnering with a **leading FMCG brand**on the search for a **manufacturing Maintenance Planner / Scheduler.**This is a perm role based **in Doncaster.**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Planning of all non-emergency preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective work orders(CM) including planned stoppages.
- Provides documentation for maintenance jobs with appropriate information to ensure effective and efficient job execution.
- Prepares maintenance schedules at weekly, daily and shift level inclusive of PM and CM work orders as well as planned stoppages.
- Reports and explains performance against the previous week’s schedule at a weekly meeting with local management (using KPI reports where appropriate)
- Ordering of critical maintenance spares and consumables
- Stock control and stock takes of maintenance stores
- Plans all work orders in SAP inclusive of operational tasks, resources, time estimates, materials and services to allow effective completion of all maintenance work orders
- In alignment with procurement ensure maintenance materials are compliant with food safety standards and updating records as applicable.
- Ensuring the permit system is followed and permit books are available and archived correctly.
- Liaises with contractors to ensure that scheduling is based on actual available manpower/resources.

**What are we looking for?**
- Appropriate experience in maintenance or engineering
- Good interpersonal skills with ability to plan/organise.
- Experience in Safety and Food Hygiene Standards.
- Excellent SAP knowledge, good numeracy, literacy and other IT skills.
- Ability to organise stock takes and keep appropriate records.
- Methodical and organised approach to housekeeping.
- Legionella awareness is a requirement, training will be provided if required
- Knowledge of statutory compliance duties relating to Maintenance e.g. Portable Appliance Testing an advantage or training will be provided.
