An exciting opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a Clinical Fellow within the Intestinal Failure (IF) Department.
This is a full-time appointment in Intestinal Failure(IF) for a 12 month period at Salford Care Organisation, Northern Care Alliance NHS Trust.
You will integrate within an expert multidisciplinary team of IF physicians, IF surgeons, dietitians, nurse specialists, ACPs, psychologists and pharmacists to provide a complete Intestinal Failure service.
The main clinical focus of the post will be to assist the Consultants and the multidisciplinary team in the delivery of Intestinal Failure care.
The post would be suitable for a Gastroenterology trainee at ST 4, 5 or ST6 level. Applications will also be considered for those at other stages of training; for example, the role can be adapted for a post-CCT applicant aiming for a Consultant role with a specialist interest in intestinal failure/clinical nutrition.
The post is designed to support the care of patients with intestinal failure, consistent with the advanced nutrition training curriculum of the JRCPTB/SAC.
