This post is for a Multiple Sclerosis Clinical Research Fellow (working at SpR/middle-grade level) based at the Manchester Centre for Clinical Neurosciences, Salford Royal Hospital.

The Manchester Centre for Clinical Neurosciences serves a large population and has a full complement of neurological subspecialties encompassing; Stroke, Cognitive function, Neuromuscular, Epilepsy, Neuroimmunology and Movement Disorders.

You will be a fully registered medical practitioners and hold a current GMC licence to practice.

You will have post-graduate medical experience with either current employment in a UKFPO-affiliated Foundation Programme or 12 months’ experience post-full GMC registration and evidence of achievement of foundation competencies.

Completion of MRCP (or equivalent) is essential.

The posts benefit from the clinical supervision / educational supervision and in-house educational programme opportunities given to our training grade medical posts at SpR grade level. Support will be available to access e-portfolio and leave for certain approved educational activity / courses as deemed appropriate for the applicants’ level of training and experience. Initially a temporary post for 12 months, but with potential for extension depending on progress.
