- **tpgroup**_ part of Science Group Plc (AIM:SAG) are a global professional services and technology partner with a unique end-to-end approach in defence, energy and space programmes.
We are looking for a Deputy Security Controller to be based either at Science Groups Great Burgh R&D Centre (near Epsom) or our Bristol office. This role will be a group resource sitting within the security function. The role will assume security responsibility for the site day to day whilst also supporting the Chief Information Security Officer in group wide responsibilities including deputising for them when necessary. Whilst the role will predominantly be based in Epsom or Bristol there will be occasional travel required to other Science Group sites across the South of England.
**The Role**
We are looking for an ambitious Deputy Security Controller to support the Security and Vetting team to ensure the adherence of security frameworks and protocols on site and maintaining appropriate accreditations.
Responsibilities will include:
- Policing of local security policy
- Assisting in supply chain security audits
- Delivering staff security inductions
- Reporting of security incidents and assisting with investigations
- Liaising with the Quality team and ensuring correct updated security policy and supporting documentation is within the business management system
- Assisting in Physical site audits and risk assessments
- Asset management including monthly muster, control of assets, receiving, transporting and destruction
- Ensuring staff report changes in personal circumstances
- Liaising with external regulatory bodies
