SikSilk is a British-born, multi-site, rapidly expanding global fashion brand that draws inspiration from top athletes, celebrities, and influencers around the world.

The brand has just experienced its most exciting year to date, launching a world-class collaboration with footballer Lionel Messi, Messi x SikSilk, as well as opening a new state-of-the-art office in Leeds City Centre.

Following a period of significant growth, and phenomenal projected growth over the next few years, SikSilk are on the hunt for another experienced Junior Merchandiser to join our growing team. Reporting to the Senior Merchandiser, you will help support the planning & development of Merchandising strategies to drive channel growth & increase sales and profitability. You will be required to support with the analysis of sales data, customers reactions and trends to anticipate future product needs in line with the planning process.
**Key Responsibilities of a Junior Merchandiser**:

- Help to plan and develop Merchandising strategies that balance customer expectation & profitability alongside our rapid expansion plan
- Support with implementing new procedures and processes alongside the Senior Merchandising Team
- Partake in the analysis & reporting of current sales data, customers reactions and channel trends in order to anticipate product needs and plan future ranges & stock
- Help build & maintain a comprehensive library of historical data
- Work to key performance indicators helping to optimise the sales volume and profitability of designated product areas according to the business plan
- Pro-active involvement with planning future ranges in conjunction with our Design, Buying & Sales team
- Support the Buying team in establishing supplier & factory best process & production planning
- Actively involved with the monitoring of slow sellers & proposal of price reductions as necessary including the roll-up of mid and end-of-season sale plans
- Work collaboratively with the team helping to monitor stock movement and help propose intake re-phasing as necessary based on the forward seasonal plan
- Support with the onboarding of third parties where necessary to allow for effective disposal of terminal stock
- Collaboratively work with the wider Merchandising, Operations & Logistics teams to ensure timely onboarding & arrival of stock with our various partners
- Involvement with training & management of junior staff members as required
- Maintain awareness of competitor performance
- Remain up to date with the industry’s best practice

**Skills & Attributes of a Junior Merchandiser**:

- The ability to work under pressure in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- The capability to work well as part of a team and to build and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of people
- Excellent analytical, numerical and communication skills
- Working experience in Merchandising within the Fashion & Apparel industry (Essential)
- Up to date with the latest trends and Merchandising best practices
- Excellent IT literacy and Advanced knowledge of Excel (Essential)
- Relevant degree level qualification (Highly desirable)

**The role of the Junior Merchandiser is a full-time permanent position with an excellent salary commensurate with experience**
