**Role Objective**: To be responsible process improvements across the business, as well as non-clinical compliance, ensuring long-term adherence to existing and new standards, certifications & accreditations.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Process Improvement & Compliance Lead to join our team. The Business Process Improvement & Compliance Lead occupies the position of the Data Protection Officer for the business, and is regarded as the go-to team member for information security matters.
We are looking for an ambitious person with solid experience managing ISO 27001/9001 certifications to join us and become a part of our journey. **What you’ll be doing**:
- Ensure that duties are undertaken with due regard and compliance to any required standards and policies; GDPR, ISO27001/9001, Health and Safety and other legislation
- Continually review and create efficient automated scalable processes.
- Ownership of Information Security Processes, including security incidents, risk assessments and policy reviews & incident management and reporting
- Writing and updating policies within remit to comply with ISO certifications
- Create, review and update documentation, processes and procedures for resolving incidents and fulfilling requests to aid the accurate completion of recurring tasks.
- Promote best practice and adherence to the IT policy.
- Ensure colleagues observe our IT policies and controls
- Act in the role of Data Protection Officer
- Manage and enforce the company’s data retention policy
- Manage Data Subject Access Requests, ensuring compliance with requirements in relation to Subject Access Requests
- Advise on compliance development and implementation
- Planning and implementation of change management programmes
- Working on and towards the Innovate Purpose, and contributing to the organisation’s culture and values

- Degree-level educated

- Influencing skills; confident when engaging with senior colleagues and operational team members alike
