Packaging & Sustainability Lead

If you are a packaging pro with a passion for sustainability, we want to hear from you Based at our production site in Banbury, we are looking for a Packaging and Sustainability Lead to join our talented and driven Operations Development team. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of the operation, focusing on one of our key business drivers, with the support of equally passionate leaders and great people (if we do say so, ourselves).

**What you will be doing**:
The role will be an eclectic mix of stakeholder management, project management, coordinating and reporting the performance of trials, and general analysis. As such, some of the duties and responsibilities will include:

- Manage new and existing packaging projects from the product creation through to development and production
- Optimise our packaging engineering model and help us make changes to improve customer experience
- Partner with suppliers to design and develop packaging technologies
- Resolve packaging related problems and document packaging requirements
- Look to develop and optimise our supplier network as well as new or alternative and more sustainable packaging
- Lead and influence a variety of stakeholders within the business, working closely with Marketing, Operations and the Development Labs.

**Who you are**:

- Demonstrable experience within a packaging role, ideally within a similar environment and sector (FMCG, Consumer Goods, Retail, eCommerce, etc)
- Experience being part of or leading projects and improvement programmes
- Strong communication skills, with an ability to explain complex concepts and influence stakeholders at all levels and seniority
- Excellent analytical and reporting ability
- Strong coordination, organisation and planning skills
- Understanding of supply chain and logistics (and the impact of these things on packaging)
