An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join our cancer services team as Cancer Care Co-ordinator supporting the Rapid diagnostic and the Gynaecology Clinical Teams. The post holders will work as a member of the speciality team providing patient coordination throughout their pathway.
With frequent contact with patients and their families, it is essential that the post holders are emotionally resilient with a caring and sensitive attitude. They will also have excellent communication skills to liaise with a wide range of health professionals to ensure tests and appointments are coordinated and scheduled in a timely manner and patients are kept informed at all times.
The post is offered initially as a 12 month fixed term contract / secondment opportunity.
