An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Investor Relations Executive to join our team. The role is located at the Smiths Group plc Head Office in London.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong organisational and interpersonal skills to join Smiths Group’s Investor Relations (IR) team. IR is the Group’s central function responsible for its interaction with institutional shareholders and research analysts within the global equity markets. Working in the IR team you will have a wide-ranging role supporting the Head of Investor Relations with the organisation of investor roadshows, financial results presentations, ad-hoc events such as Capital Markets Days and investor site visits, as well as comprehensive investor targeting. - Manage the half and full year results presentation and roadshows, and other IR roadshows, including meetings, webcast, invites and feedback
- Lead organisation of UK roadshows and support for US and Europe ones, including liaising with investors/brokers, arranging meetings, transport, hotels etc
- Prepare investor meeting packs for management
- Scheduling of ad-hoc investor meetings
- Manage the organisation of investor events including all logistics, recordings, attendees etc
- Maintain and update IR specific materials, including content for IR section of the website
- Organisation of overseas & UK travel itineraries for Head of IR, including flight bookings, transfers, hotel, COVID & VISA requirements
- Manage IR calendar and IR inbox
- Support IR team with investor targeting
- Take minutes for investor meetings as required
- Ensure the CRM platform is kept up to date
- Strong MS office skills
- Submit expenses for the team as required

The Individual

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong organisational and interpersonal skills:

- Previous experience of working for an Investor Relations function within a FTSE-listed company/corporate broking/equity analyst environment/IR consultancy helpful, but not essential
- Outgoing and confident nature, with a customer centric approach
- Excellent communication and relationship skills
- Ability to multi-task, whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Team player with a flexible approach to work
