Requirements for this Senior Civil Engineer position include;
- BEng/MEng Civil Engineering degree
- Experience producing concept and detailed designs of highway, drainage using Civils3D
- The ability to undertake drainage and SuDS designs using Causeway Flow
- Liaising with clients and other professionals in the development and creation of designs, alongside the need to project management skills at points to ensure the project runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Chartered status with ICE would be preferred, or they can help you get there if you are progressing
- Team management skills are required to lead technicians and more junior engineers in the processes of creating designs, undertaking reviews, and providing information and tips before these stages.
- All the other usual communication and presentation skills will be important as you will be representing the company while directly liaising with clients and helping to grow the business.
- Create fully co-ordinated designs by liaising well with other disciplines such as structures, transport planning and geo-technical.
The salary offered will depend on experience, but £30,000-£40,000 is a good guide.
