They are actively seeking a driven, capable Senior Civil Engineer committed to leading an established team of design professionals within the civil engineering, drainage, and flood risk sectors, based in the exciting, diverse city of Leeds. Benefits for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include (but are not limited to): Competitive salary (commensurate with the skills and experience you can bring to the role) Annual bonus scheme Contributory pension scheme Generous annual leave allowance (including your Birthday off) Health Benefit Scheme (following six months of service) Flexible and hybrid working opportunities A focus on Continuing Professional Development (CPD), with opportunities for career progression A tight-knit team environment, with plenty of social activities and events Support for professional memberships, including payment of subscription fees Childcare vouchers Responsibilities for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include: Producing detailed drainage and highways designs for residential, commercial, and industrial projects Working on a number of infrastructure projects for a variety of public and private clients Preparing and checking technical documents with reference to the relevant Section Agreements for highways and drainage (namely, S38, S278, and S104) Using relevant software systems to produce designs, such as AutoCAD, Civils3D, Causeway PDS, and MicroDrainage Managing client and customer relationships at all project stages Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include: A Degree in Civil Engineering Extensive experience within a design-based role, in a UK consultancy/Local Authority setting Possess Chartered Status, recognised by a relevant Professional Body Excellent working knowledge of the relevant software systems, including AutoCAD, Civils3D, Causeway PDS, and MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage Highly-competent in the application of the relevant Section Agreements (i.e., S104, S278, and S38) Experience of leading both people and projects Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills Demonstrable experience of liaising closely with a diverse range of clientele, including building and maintaining strong working relationships Full, valid UK driving licence Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include: A Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering Proficiency with Site3D
