Key duties of the role include:
- Developing, maintaining and overseeing robust procurement policy and procedure in accordance with appropriate regulatory requirements.
- Managing cross-functional engagement where supplier works across more than one
functional business unit.
- Acting as the first point of contact for stakeholders when they are considering procurement options on their projects
- Establish strong working relationships with customers to successfully support them throughout the consultation and implementation process
- Present process options to customers and assist in their decision making
- Develop in depth knowledge of warehouse and materials management over time.
- Manage multiple projects and be responsible for consulting with all project stakeholders
- Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the organization’s buildings, ensuring
that they meet legal requirements and health and safety standards.
- Ensure efficient and smooth business operations, minimising any interruption from external factors.
Experience required:
- Demonstrable experience of supporting businesses growth through an efficient
procurement process and robust outsourcing and facilities management.
- Ability to work with, influence and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders at
all levels.
- Significant experience managing multiple projects/tasks effectively.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Financial spend management
