Football Coach

**Job Purpose**:
To plan, co-ordinate and deliver outstanding quality football sessions for children in schools and at holiday camps and local area
**Main Duties and Responsibilities as a Coach**:
- To deliver high-quality, enjoyable football sessions that are well structured.
- To undertake the necessary planning for each session.
- To retain children in football, increase club numbers and encourage attendance by building rapport with the children, parents and school.
- To develop and maintain effective and positive working relationships with schools/parents to assist in the development of new business.
- To maintain professionalism at all times.
- Identify and follow up potential new business with the Parallel Sports Coaching (PSCL) office.
- To be a role model, creating a positive and fun environment in which to motivate and encourage children to participate in sport.
- To adapt sessions to cater for different ranges of ability and are appropriate.
- To undertake the administrative tasks required within the role, including registers, club numbers, assessment forms etc.
- To ensure all PSCL football equipment is correctly set up, maintained and stored on completion of the coaching session.
- To take responsibility for personal professional development by attending relevant training courses to improve your coaching delivery and further your career.
- To be familiar and comply with PSCL health and safety regulations and to undertake venue risk assessments prior to all sessions.
- To work in a flexible way and be able to undertake other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 12 per week
**Salary**: £12.50-£25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
**Experience**:
- Football coaching: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Certificate in Coaching Football (required)
- Enhanced DBS (required)
