Materials Handler

**About The Role**:
We are currently looking for someone to join our FVD Machine Shop team as a Materials Handler to assist with the movement of product around a busy production facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- To assist moving Tube and Materials around a busy Machine Shop.
- To assisting with inspection where required.
- To assist Borers with tube movement and bar changes.
- Familiarity with modern management techniques such as TPM and 5S.
- Working safely throughout all activities in line with Paralloy’s safety standards and procedures.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- A forklift truck licence
- Side loader licence (desirable).
- Pendant Crane, Lifting & Slinging experience.
- Experience working within a Fabrication or heavy engineering facility (desirable).
- Good H&S and environmental awareness.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
