Front of House Supervisor

As a senior member of the front of house team you are expected to lead in delivering excellence, upholding and demonstrating the company standards and the values of The Beach. Your specific role will vary on a daily basis so you need to be highly adaptable and trained in all aspects of The Beach operation.

**Key Responsibilities and Tasks**:
**Manage The Beach on a day to day basis ** **working as part of the Senior Leadership Team to ensure the operation runs smoothly.**
- You will be serving our guests and going the extra mile at all times. You will be expected to head up the operation. These include:

- Bar area - this may include being the bar person, Barrista or on the Till
- Co
- ordinating section lead - running a section of the restaurant taking orders and delivering The Beach journey
- Food and beverage sales and standards are to be constantly maintained throughout the operation as per the standard operating procedures.
- Speak to guests regularly and monitor/action feedback to ensure that the service provided is meeting and exceeding expectations
- Ensure areas are kept clean at all times and is fully stocked.
- Ensure that all Beach allergen/HACAP guidelines and procedures are followed at all times.
- Work alongside your ,shift supervisor and kitchen team to deal with any individual dietary requirements.
- You’ll need to be approachable, friendly and professional to help create a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the café.
- Oversees day-to-day operations
- Handles budget administration and preparation, including forecasting, profit and loss accountability, cost control, and inventories
- Initiates marketing and brand promotions
- Provides superior service and customer care
- Responds to customers' complaints in an efficient manner with sensitivity and care
- Manages the performance of team members and provides feedback to improve productivity
- Interviews, selects, and trains employees
- Ensures compliance with established safety and health policies and procedures
- Research new vendors and regularly review product quality
- Estimate future supply needs

**Qualifications and Experience required**:

- Experience of running a large team within the hospitality sector is essential.
- Feel confident running a busy venue with multiple points of sale.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required**:

- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and to be efficient/productive at work
- Ability to use your initiative and to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work within a team.
- Good knowledge of Food Safety and Hygiene.

- Clean and tidy appearance.
- Approachable, welcoming, professional and enthusiastic.
- Highly motivated with a flexible approach to working patterns.
- Organised and punctual.

**Salary**: £12.31-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Catering: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 2 years (preferred)
