Shearer Associates are delighted to be retained by one of Gloucesters best known manufacturing business in the recruitment for a Finance Business Partner. This newly created role, supporting the central finance department, internal and external compliance and tax requirements for the company and working as a business partner for the Gloucester Business Unit.

The position will offer the opportunity to work with the business unit management team, including management reporting, supporting costing reviews, forecasting and budgeting as well as opportunity to help improve processes and controls. The three business units each have a accountant and across these accountants cover central tasks for the company

Your duties will include:

- Produce Gloucester Financial Reports and Analysis including assisting Business Units with Costings, Forecasts and Budgeting and other reporting requirements
- Key member of the Gloucester Business unit Management team to support and help improve the business performance and controls
- Provide strategic financial insights to aid decision-making
- Manage financial accounting activities and ensure compliance with regulations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
- Analyse financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Oversee financial services such as investments and banking relationships
- Collaborate with other departments to manage financial risks effectively

Pay: £55,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
