**Area Maintenance Supervisor -Country Court**
**Hours: 40 Hours per week (Monday to Friday 0800-1700)**
**Salary £30,000 to 32,000 per annum + Company Vehicle, Mobile Phone, Fuel Card & Performance Related Bonus (up to 10% per annum)**
We are looking for an Area Maintenance Supervisor to join us & support our Maintenance teams in our care & nursing homes across the South of England. You & your maintenance teams will ensure our homes are a safe environment for the residents and staff and conforms to the requirements as laid out under the Health and Safety legislation.

**THE AREA MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR ROLE**
Within your role, you can really make a difference to our residents’ lives, its important our Residents are cared for within a 5* environment. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Performing regular visits and maintenance audits of all Homes within your set geographical area.
- Offer guidance and support to ensure your team maintain a high standard of work and safety when completing tasks in all areas of Home.
- Ensure all work for maintenance persons has been agreed in an action plan prior to starting and completed within pre-agreed timeframes.
- Recruit, manage and supervise your team to achieve and maintain 5-star standards within all homes.
- Ensure your team update Home Manager on progress of work.
- Responsible for reporting and reviewing Area Maintenance Budgets and home maintenance budgets, ensuring costs are within budget.
- Undertake staff supervisions and appraisals.
- Assist new colleagues through induction process and complete all areas to the highest standard.
- Ensure you and your teams’ Risk Assessments and Checks are completed accurately and efficiently.
**ABOUT YOU**

- At least 1 years’ experience of Management/supervisory position in a Maintenance role
- Experience of managing a team
- At least 5 years’ experience in working in a maintenance/handy person role.
- Have strong written & verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge or understanding of the care sector & Health and Safety at Work
- A valid UK driving license.
