We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Workers to join our team and make a positive impact in the lives of young people. Care Services To You provide residential services to young people in single occupancy homes who present with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

**Job Description**:
As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting young people within a residential setting. You will work closely with a team of professionals to provide high-quality care, support, and guidance to help young people develop and achieve their potential. Please note that this role involves working 2 days on (including sleep in’s) and 4 days off - this is non negotiable.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide day-to-day care and support to young people in the home.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualised care plans.
- Promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of young people.
- Encourage positive behaviors and help young people develop life skills.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
- Participate in recreational and educational activities with young people.
- Support young people in their education and personal development.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Previous experience working with young people in a residential or similar setting is desirable but not essential.
- NVQ Level 3/4 or willingness to work towards it.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with young people.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including a pattern of 2 days on and 4 days off, which include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
