An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker to join the Rehabilitation Flow team, which is part of the Trust’s Bed Management and Patient Flow Team, as a Team Leader.
We are looking for experienced, passionate nurses, OT’s or Social Workers who have a positive attitude towards mental health and promoting recovery who will be a positive role model in coaching staff members and providing clear direction and support.
This is a challenging, varied role, where you will use your clinical, operational, organisational, managerial and leadership expertise to the full to support both the Lancashire Service Users on their rehabilitation journey and the Rehabilitation Flow Team in their roles. You will work closely with our internal teams and external colleagues to oversee the clinical aspects of our Rehabilitation provision and patient flow through the units. You will provide line management and clinical supervision to the Rehabilitation Flow Practitioners, including appraisal. You will be expected to carry out audits where necessary and support the Service Manager in implementing and evaluating service developments.
There is a requirement for clinical experience in the acute mental health settings with a desire to improve the patient experience and journey.
Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
